Up-coming Rapper RICO SIXX has released a new single titled “1 of 1” in which he exhibits a sound of his own, a genre he calls Drill-Metal. RICO uses his vocals to implement a more of a rock/alternative sound to a drill beat. The single has amassed over 1k plays on streaming giant Spotify since it’s release.
The track was produced by well-known 1stoopkid and iamtash who produced “What You Know Bout Love” by Pop Smoke. The lyrics take a deep look into RICO’s life experiences, from doing time in jail to being raised by his single-mother. RICO expresses how he is truly “1 of 1,” uniquely pushing past his circumstances an rising above.
