Jamaul, The Vision Has Indeed A Vision In Mind With His Latest “Be Like Me” Freestyle
Making a successful remix to a song can be quite the challenge, but in the case of Jamaul, The Vision, his freestyle to the “Be Like Me” instrumental by Lil Pump and Lil Wayne meets and exceeds that challenge. The South Florida native didn’t have to look too far to find inspiration; as someone from Broward County, he knows all about bouncy, trunk rattling hip-hop.
The ten-year rap veteran sought out KashBeats to mix and master the track, which features potent bars and lyrics that immediately let the listener know that what they are hearing is coming straight from the heart.
Jamaul chose the beat wisely, as Pump has been one of the most successful MCs out of Florida in recent years. While taking a page out of a fellow Floridian’s book, Jamaul, The Vision says he may have been inspired more by New Orleans legend Weezy than anyone else.
“The inspiration behind the music video came from the ‘A Milli’ music video by Lil Wayne,” said Jamaul, The Vision. “[The song] was inspired by the original song by Pump and Wayne.”
“Be Like Me Freestyle” has been confirmed by the artist as a single off of his upcoming project Mixtape Crazy, whose release date is to be determined much to the dismay of his fans, who are clamoring for more music from one of South Florida’s hottest up and coming rappers. It’s only a matter of time before Jamaul, The Vision makes his way into your rotation and receives worldwide acclaim for his creations.
