You may not have heard of ERIN AMERIKANKA, but she is already a global star in her own right. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Alabama. She has spent time living in Istanbul, Beijing, and most recently, Moscow. Whilst abroad, she has collaborated with artists from all over Europe and Asia; artists from larger countries such as Germany, Ukraine, and Russia have reached out for a feature, and she has even recorded songs with techno artists in Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

It was only when ERIN moved to the Los Angeles area that she turned her influence towards a uniquely American sound. “Doubt”, her latest single, takes influence from Cuban guitars and Miami hip-hop, a stark contrast to the deep house, soul, techno, and jazz cuts that she has released in the past. She consulted with local Broward County producer Treyon Lubin of Icxnic Productions to explore the melting pot that is the South Florida music scene.

“Doubt” is a single off of an upcoming, yet-to-be-titled collaborative project between ERIN AMERIKANKA and Icxnic Productions. It’s all a part of her plan to expand her already vast sonic range and reach into yet another genre of music to find new fans and make new connections.

“[I plan to climb] the corporate ladder by day,” said ERIN AMERIKANKA. “While also dedicating all of [my] free time to [my] toddler and music in the evenings.”

If you are like most music fans and you like “a little bit of everything”, then you need to check out ERIN AMERIKANKA. There aren’t many more diverse artists than her, and there is sure to be a song in her discography that you will like.
